Is my credit card information safe?  Payment on my website is through the secure PayPal program.  You do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal.

Can I order not using PayPal?  If you prefer to order using a check or money order, please do not use the Add to Cart button as the shopping cart takes you to PayPal.  To order using a check or money order, just email me with the item number and I will return the email with instructions for payment.

Where do you find your stones?  Everywhere!  I find them on my vacations, at gem shows, at lapidary events, etc.

What is fine silver (precious metal clay)? Precious metal clay consists of microscopic particles of silver or gold suspended in an organic binder. This creates a material with a consistency like modeling clay. The clay is worked with your fingers and tools to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. When the clay is fired in a kiln or by torch, the organic binder burns away and the metal particles fuse to form solid precious metal 99.9% pure.  Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metal (usually copper).

What is gold-filled wire?  14k gold-filled wire (also called rolled gold) is a layer of 14k gold mechanically bonded under heat and pressure to one or more surfaces of supporting base metal, then rolled or drawn to a given thickness.  In the jewelry industry, the quantity of gold must be at least 1/20th by weight of the total product.  The finished product has a surface of gold which is very thick compared to gold plate or electroplate or vermeil.  Gold-filled items are considered to be lifetime products and the gold will not wear off, as it will in electroplated products.

Can I get a bracelet in a different size?  If you see a bracelet you like and need a different size, please email me at Info@bluejaydesigns.biz.  Since all items are handcrafted, no two finished items are exactly the same but I will make every effort to match an item for you.

How do I know my bracelet size?  The easiest way is to measure a bracelet you already have that has a comfortable fit.  You can also measure your wrist with a string and add three quarters to an inch (the fit of a bracelet is a personal preference).
